Beginning Monday in Science- we will finish up with force and motion.  Students will have test over force and motion on Wednesday. Then will start with pulleys and planes.

Social Studies- We will be continuing the West Indies powerpoint, and complete map over the Caribbean Islands.

Last Friday we had a wonderful time at movies for those students who were able attend for Celebrate Success!! We about half of the sixth grade there.  Next six weeks we would like to take entire 6th grade!!!

This week in Science we will do balloons race lab, types of energy quiz, acceleration and speed lab, and measure using formula to calculate how long it will take us walk 2 laps at the track.

This week in Social Studies we we be continuing our powerpoint covering Central America and the Caribbean Islands.

Please check your child’s binder- many are broken and need new ones.  Also- many do not have pens, paper, or pencils.  Please replenish soon.

January 18- Report Cards- must be signed and returned by Friday

February 6- Pasta for Patients begins- the homeroom collecting most money will earn lunch from Olive Garden

February 10- Valentine’s Dance

Students will have a school holiday on Monday.

Beginning on Tuesday my science classes will begin a new unit “Force and Motion”

Social Studies will begin powerpoint over South America.

Please make sure you check all your supplies, especially your binder.  Many were torn before our break. Make sure you get 3 inch binder.  Most students need pens, pencils, red pens, etc.  It’s time to replenish!!!
